Obama defends Tax deal

Obama on Tuesday said his decision over Tax deal will not dwindle as the harsh criticism is coming from Democrats' side.

"There are some who would have preferred a protracted political fight," the president said at a White House news conference a day after the deal was announced. "And I understand the desire for a fight. I'm sympathetic to that."

Many Democrats blame the new tax deal will benefit the wealthiest Americans as it continues the tax-breaks for them.
